Thursday, February 21, 2008. If you're a turkey and you know it. I was pretty awful about taking pictures during thanksgiving and christmas (even on our ski trip). i. Wish i had taken more pics. all of our family gatherings were wonderful and reece had a ton of fun. reece's uncle roger and aunt shana hosted a fab thanksgiving this year and i walked away ZERO pics.that's right, nada. bad bad bad. Another highlight of thanksgiving weekend was the first playdate for reece and his cousin ellis! One Day of Daf.

Friday, February 15, 2008. Unfortunately, picking up the blog where we left off leads us right to the saddest day of november 15, the day when our beloved pretty boy Ruger went to doggie heaven. We are thankful for his life and all the joy and licks he brought to us everyday (trust me - lots of licks! We love you, Ruger. Hope your doggie bed in the sky is as comfy as a pile of downy-fresh clothes right out of the dryer and that the all-you-can-eat cheese and beef jerky buffets are open 24hrs.

Thursday, November 1, 2007. 5 months old today! Ohmygosh, where did the time go? Reece is getting so big and is learning new things everyday. (i guess mom needs to watch her mouth before he ends up learning things like #*$% and @*#&%! He can roll over (back to tummy) and sit up on his own (well, only for a minute - but still.). his toys really facinate him now that he can really play with them.and by 'play' i mean put in his mouth. lol. Reece loves his bouncy chair and i enjoy the time it gives me to get a little something done. it's a win/win toy. he plays for 15 minutes, mom does a load of laundry and the dishes. on this occasion, i must have been so excited to do said laundry (not), that i walked away without strapping him in.and he tries to make a run for it!
