Miranda's family photo journal. Monday, August 24, 2009. After a round of visiting relatives in Holland, I had a nice surprise when we returned to France. Grammy Denise had arrived from Quebec! I decided to take her and papa up to Le Prairon, a new summit for them. She loved the telecabine and the views of the valley, Mt.Blanc and our home in Les Houches below. Since June I have definately grown alot, my little legs are carrying me farther. When I woke up we were in the middle of massive rock valley.

Miranda's family photo journal. Monday, August 24, 2009. David and I were gifted some time to go explore together in the alpine. We took a couple lifts up, unsure what to expect.you can just see the rock ridge in the distance that we climbed. This is the top of Argentiere lift, super! The last time I was here was 4 years ago when we skied the haute route, our lives quite different then. We started our day as a descent on the glacier and some tricky walking on ice and rock. Miranda's family photo journal. Thursday, July 30, 2009. I'm giving Papa a ride to town, he's going to do a glacier school on Mer de Glace, he's taking a train up there. We're going into the alpine too, we're going to take a telepherique. We've visited lots of lakes since June including Lac Vert, Lac Blanche, Lac Noir. Today we're going to see a different colour. Yes this is definately blue.Lac Bleu. Mama said the colour has to do with rock flour, hmm, that seems strange. Play Parks with Mama. The mornin...

Miranda's family photo journal. Wednesday, June 24, 2009. Today I woke up from an amazing all night sleep. Mama is even more excited about that than my dodo. She seems so much more refreshed when sleep through the night, maybe i'll try it again tonight. After some playdough play we decided that we would summit a mountain. After a civilized breakfast downtown, we geared up. European style we boarded a different lift, one we get to ride on all by ourself. I'm getting pretty good at this! Hey, there's Papa!
