Friday, 15 February 2013. Honing strops so the artists will learn how to keep the tools sharp for a long time, and brayers. In the USA to take along (there are none available locally). Paper, ink, wood for carving and other supplies (sandpaper, cleaning materials, etc.) I want to purchase locally so the artists will be able to acquire the necessary supplies and continue with printmaking after I leave. The images I've seen in this workshop by some of the stronger artists are so uniquely their own, with a very personal style, so much rhythm and movement. Monday, 29 April 2013. Trying out my new materials. In Asunción and it works beautifully straight out of the can. I tried various papers I bought at Copel. The only larger paper supplier in Paraguay apparently. They all worked well, and now I have to make the grand decision between various white tones and the gms (weight), which will be of no great consequence in the end. I have been studying the art of animation since 2013 at thet AKV St. Joost in Breda, where I am now in my second year. We are learning all kinds of animation, but I tend to like 3D animations the most at the moment. What I would like to accomplish is creating Interactive 2D or 3D animation in the future. Next to creating, the thing that I enjoy most is sports. I love swimming, badminton or a game of Chess or Go. I am also very passionate about traveling, languages and different kinds of cultures.
