When it comes to this warm, cozy breakfast there are 3 main misconseptions I come across regularly:. 1 You have to add salt to oatmeal for it to cook correctly, sugar for it to taste good. 2 Only instant oatmeal can be made in the mircrowave. 3 Oatmeal must be cooked to eat. Quick classic cinnamon-raisin oatmeal. 3/4 cup dry oldfashioned oatmeal. 1/2 tsp cinnamon (or to taste). 3/4 cup skim milk.
