The discovery of glass fusion combined with glass painting allows me the freedom to select and combine colors in one piece of glass without depending on the lead line, so typical for stained glass. After fusing my colored glass pieces onto one plate of clear glass, I am left with a smooth surface ready for painting. It is like painting on canvas only with the luminosity of glass and the permanence of kiln fired paint. Powered by artspan.com.

Miriam Seeger, educated in Basel Switzerland and San Francisco, became a painter of glass at Willet Glass Studio in Philadelphia, where she was employed as a painter and designer of stained glass windows for over twenty years. This "tapestry" can be suspended before any light source, such as a simple window, and as opposed to a stained glass window, it can be moved at any time. My work combines the ancient art of glass painting, normally used to paint images on stained glass windows, with glass fusion. My latest pieces are displayed on custom made, curved, brushed stainless steel stands of my own design. Each plate has it’s own stand and is meant for decorative indoor use. The Buddha series was inspired by my continuing yoga practice and I am just beginning a new series, which I call “Meditation on Butterflies”. Powered by artspan.com.

Is what the Butchulla People call Fraser Island, the biggest sand island in the world and one of the World Heritage listed places in Queensland. Sol og varmegrader gjør noe med både kroppen og humøret :). Jeg får i alle fall mer energi på denne årstiden,. Og lysten til å gjøre noe kreativt bobler inni meg! I loftstua har vi hatt fargen bomull på veggene,. Det er den samme fargen som er på listene. Jeg har ikke trivdes med det, det blir for monotont for meg. Har jeg malt veggene igjen.

Uw kind wordt opgenomen op onze boerderij, in ons gezin, bestaande uit Mirjam (41 ), Mart, zoon Ian (11) en dochter Dané (7) en kindvriendelijke hond Bo. Mirjam is ervaren sociaal pedagogisch werkster en Matrixcoach. En heeft trainingen gevolgd op het gebied van autisme, ADHD en hechting- en gedragsproblematiek. Is het belangrijk dat uw kind zich prettig en thuis voelt met zichzelf en zijn of haar omgeving.
