At any rate, she was supposed to come out yesterday, but had a colic emergency that superseded a sore hoof- I wasn't going to argue with that! I got the back yard done and decided what the hell- Uphill Neighbor had done the slopes of the front, so I might as well clean that up. So I carefully positioned myself, stopped to make sure I could handle the slope where I was, engaged the mower, and . Disengaged the mower, moved on to level ground, tried again.
