Or so I imagined before I came visit for the first time (many years ago now), an island just for yogis, hippies and surfers, people who, for instance, does not go to bed too late 🙂. I was lucky enough to spend a week in Bali, prior to Christmas. I’d been feeling sorry for myself for spending my second Christmas away from home, so when inexpensive tickets and a weeks accommodation in a vacationers dream spot came to my attention, I immediately addressed the issue by sitting my roommates down and using peer pressure, ‘but its BALI’ and ‘for CHRISTMAS! So…what did I learn? We ended up staying at a last minute Airbnb. Experience the beauty of Finns Beach Club. Take a day trip to Ubud.

No delays, no long queues at the check-in counters and I had more than enough time to make a claim at TRS – just the way I like to travel. We set base in an amazing villa we found listed on Airbnb. Right smack in the heart of the happenings in Seminyak. Thu] 9th June, SEMINYAK. We ended up just staying in the villa!
