Misadventures of c and a. November 25, 2010. One things for sure, if nothing else, the weather here is predictable (at least for the last week). I'd like to say that the rain has stopped completely, but alas it hasn't. However, we wake up every morning to glorious sunshine. Not bad I'd say! And lasts anything from 2 to 3 hours through to the middle of the night. This is not ordinary rain! Tomorrow, he's eyed a 7b to work. November 19, 2010. Maybe that is Thailand for you! Misadventures of c and a. April 1, 2011. Its been so busy these last few weeks - I haven't had time to set aside an hour or so to write anything. Not a bad excuse, must be having too much fun! The next day I got stung by a jelly fish - you can imagine the panic I was in. Luckily, no fatally dangerous jellies reside in Perth. Jelly fact: Box Jelly can kill you in under a minute, but there is an antidote (not quite sure how useful it would be)! The wonderful unsual landscape of the Pinnacles. 48 hours in NZ.

Misadventures of c and a. December 28, 2010. We are slowly adjusting to our new temporary life in Hampi. The plan was to stay 2 weeks, but after being here a week already, I don't think two will be enough. The area is beautiful and there are more boulders than you could climb in a lifetime. The guest house chilled out with a great bunch of climbers from all across the globe. Why would we leave? The Hampi Friendly Gecko! Boulder View from Goan Corner. The Temples in the Background. Palm verged Paddy fields.

Misadventures of c and a. April 1, 2011. If lonely planet say 3 we say 1 . Or maybe I should rephrase that to Andrew says 1. After reading Lonely Planet's South Island guide to Stewart Island, Andrew decided that we would do the Rakiura Walk in a day. 32 km forest / coastal walk through some gorgeous remote NZ landscape. The only catch was we had to be back before the last ferry left at 6pm and in time to get tickets - hmmm - the challenge had been set! Before the sun was fully up! On the road, again!

Okay, so Melbourne has a few disadvantages, I had to get up at 5 in the morning to watch the world cup and Im not a morning person. Turns out it was the best way to start the day and we did it in style. We definatly deserved that win. It was AMAZING and a very pround moment to be a South African. We cheered them on and woke up all the ozzies doing it! Brilliant start to the day!
