Meanderings from the 3rd floor balcony. October 31, 2011. I am not a fan of adults dressing up and going out drinking all day which we saw plenty of this weekend but I sure am enjoying seeing all the pictures on Facebook of kids all dressed up today! I have to share a picture of my favorite little cow. We ended up not doing the race yesterday for several reasons but I was still able to see Miss K all dressed up. So stinking cute! Meanderings from the 3rd floor balcony. March 20, 2012. I started the first book of the trilogy for The Hunger Games back in January. While I am the slowest reader ever I was also just a tad busy the past couple months but I finished yesterday and loved it! It is such a twisted, messed up story line but I'm hooked! Friday I ran around all crazy trying to prepare for our going-away party that was on Saturday. I also went to meet my friend, Melinda's new baby, Ella. It was so great to catch up with her and her mom.it's been a long time but felt like not much time had passed at all.not to mention how happy I was to meet her adorable, sweet girl, Ella! Dreamed of, moving across the country together!

(aka, I was laid off! I had a lot of time to sleep, eat, read, journal and digest thoughts on where God wanted me yesterday, today, tomorrow and beyond. It was during those quiet days that God led me to Mexico where I worked with children with special needs and quite literally, immediately. Going Away Party Dos.
