After finding pictures online of the different kinds of toys we have, I had them laminated and fixed onto the baskets using velcro adhesive. (See pics from the process. Monday, April 5, 2010. Easter Sunday, I spent the afternoon with a couple of my favorite peeps, J and N - at J's house. These friends are family to me. N, holding J's little E. N's hubby, S with Micro S. J's Papa C carves the super juicy Easter ham. N's Little Miss H checks on Papa C's progress. After our tummies are properly stuffed, H and Mini S hunt for eggs in J's backyard. Little Miss E gets in on the egg action. H and Mini S waste no time breaking in their new bubble blowers. Thursday, December 24, 2009. As a child, Christmas Eve meant a busy day of cooking, a 30-minute drive to Grandma and Grandpa's house, and en evening of food, cousins, carols, and a very entertaining white elephant gift exchange. Christmas Eve was the best day of the year. Much more exciting than Christmas Day. I have often pondered on the great responsibilities and the incredible privilege of being a mother. What an honor it is to raise God's children and to participate in the miracle of His creation.
