Saturday, October 13, 2012. Steak and other drugs. Pork, shrimp, and water chestnut wontons. The texture of the water chestnuts is so fun. I love how making wontons and dumplings can be such a great social/group activity. I still have two bags of these in my freezer. At Costco we picked up some awesome AAA grade top sirloin steaks. Thursday, October 06, 2011. My good friend Alice was in town the other day. Our original plans were to hit the town right away since her bus arrived at 9pm, but the weather was so miserable that our group ended up staying in and chatting over some drinks (gin mixed with Barefoot pinot grigio. And pink grapefruit juice). Luckily, the next morning only presented a light drizzle, so we hit up Lola Rosa. I ordered the ragout tunisien. I have a huge backlog of things to post. Til next time!
