Well another semesters been and gone and new one has taken its place, and with it also comes a whole load of promises to try harder, put more effort in, do this and do that. And even though I feel like I have been doing more work than I did last year I still feel like its not enough like am bearly treading water. I always thought that people gave students a hard time about:. A)living off beans on toast. B)wasting their loans on booze or. But I just found myself saying the exact same phrase that i detest being used towards me i.e. 'Fxxking Students'. Because Ive just studied civil procedure and criminal procedure (am a law student in the Philippines), I am curious as to how criminal cases are filed in the United Kingdom (Philippine laws are based largely from Spanish and American law). Its a Nice Day to Start Again (. Its a Nice Day to Start Again. How do you cite cases in your essays? I'm going into year three now LLB Law, and this is still confusing me, because I tend to write 'In Donaghue v Stephenson(with the rest of the citation in footnotes).', but I use a comma separating the case name from what I have said, in the exam. In Q A books, brackets are used, but this looks clunky and informal. Is this the correct way to reference what you have said? Post a new comment.

I have heard that a UK law degree would enable one to practice in all the Commonwealth countries, provided that one serves his/her pupillage in the UK.
