He gave to me this task of finding (or alternatively dubiously procuring) a series of pictures that represent the various words he's provided me with. One picture per word. Lets see how I go. Wednesday, 30 May 2007. Now its time for me to comment on the course! Atleast that broke up the continous talking from the lecturer. It was also interesting to have guest speaker's to liven up the atmosphere and perhaps talk about issues from a different perspective. The topic for the essay that we had to produce was left open so that you could practically write what ever you wanted to write about. The digital divide was mentioned; so the fact that not everyone has equal access to computers, especially the internet, and as the lecture notes read, how can everyone be represented in on-line debate? It then said access is easier to gain now through friends, libraries, cheaper costs etc, but what about people living in, say, slums in Africa? Lecture 10 on cybertherapy.
