Giving it a little time, I listened to the latest finished tune “Zero gravity experiment”, it didn’t sound as bad as I remembered. Therefore I decided to release it after all. If not much else, it has a cool mellotron violin orchestra in the beginning! The tune is in 3/4 time (although notated as 6/8) and it features some new chord voicings, for me at least. You can see them in the pictures below:.

I finished this last night, but I wanted to give it a listen the next day just to see if something needed fixing. I found this nice set of chords but I just can't put them anywhere to give them justice. I've tried 3 different vehicles to no avail. I guess I just have to rethink my whole approach and do something quite new, the problem is finding the right groove, time signature and tempo. I think creative difficulties are just the best kind of difficulties! Here's a kitten. Enjoy.
