About me . . . . Anniversary and a birthday! Well, just posting to tell all of some upcoming events:). 50th wedding anniversary for 200 . . . . . . I will be doing cupcakes and a square 8" (triple layer) cake for the top . . . Like I did for Brennan and Emily's wedding . . . . That same weekend I will be doing a birthday party. About me . . . . Well, decided to make some cupcakes today! New recipe and probably a new favorite flavor! Very time consuming, but oh so good! Had to first make salted caramel, which if you have ever made caramel, you know the process/time/perfectness that it entails! And then the buttercream- the recipe called for Swiss buttercream, but I don't like making Swiss because although people say it is easier, for me, it is more of a pain in the butt! I have the method down pat, because I have made it so much!

About me . . . . I have always loved my nursing schedule that allows for days off during the week. Never a monday-friday thing (generally) with most weekends off:) but, my schedule this week allowed me to spend some much needed time with some of my favorite little ladies and my favorite mom carlson! Kylie and karena came to spend some time with grandma and grandpa- so, i went and had some fun too:). I left work yesterday and went and stayed the night and spent most of today with them. About me . . . . We dog sat for my sister's boyfriend on saturday . . . . It was then that i realized . . . We have a long ways to go with 'page before we add another dog to the family. We have been talking about adding a frenchie (french bulldog) to the mix . . . . But it is clearly evident that 'page is a spoiled only child and wouldn't allow for that . . . He had so much green in his eyes, and was very naughty. Also, once again reaffirms our wishes to not have kiddos for a few years! Love of my life.

Well, i received wonderful new baking supplies this week from shanda, bill, kylie and rena . . .so, i had to put them to use:) i had the cake made as i wanted to practice getting smooth frosting for my wedding cake coming up! It is vanilla cake with blueberry cream cheese filling and french buttercream frosting!
