And take them well. That is because he knows what he is doing. I have been in the restaurant business for. A lot of years. Friday, March 11, 2011. I can still read a map! With all of the technology today, sometimes I wonder if simple skills are being lost. A clock.everyone can read a digital clock, but what about a 'hands' (that is what Middle Kid calls it)clock? We have a GPS. If we get lost Darth Vader tells us he is reworking our trip to the dark side. (How come he only says that if we are headed to a hockey rink? Where do I get one? Thankfully I can read a map, just can't follow directions! Hockey season is over.

The kids had been begging to go to the City, so we packed up and booked a room at a Hilton Hotel. The kids were armed with electronics and stuffed animals and we were off! Thursday, November 1, 2012. Each month at Tyler's school there is a CORE VALUE word that the student's learn about and try to exhibit. During February the core value was Kindness and Caring. Tyler had been trying pretty hard to earn an award and he tried really hard to be kind and to care. Really hard. Thursday, February 2, 2012. A tradition at Busy Bees Preschool is the Stone Soup Meal that they make around Thanksgiving each year. The soup consists of the kids' favorite vegetable and some broth.
