Monday, August 15, 2005. Happiness (better than the AA Milne kind*). Every once in a while, usually in the times we least expect, we all stumble across flashes of inspiration or revelation, which we know will change our lives. The kind of realisation that gave to us the reformed church or the best songs. The kind of which doesn't necessitate mental excavation or committee discussions. Possibly the kind that only God can inspire. I'm so glad I have my Laura back again. Life isn't right without her aro...

Sunday, November 27, 2005. 149 am ramblings on more happyness. To anyone who says life is too much for them or that happyness is beyond their means:. I DECREE YOU A LIAR, Sir. and a lady with short hair! I'm thinkihng back to my former life as a Yarco (citizen of Greater Yarmouth) and how I wasn't really happy. How commuting was a chore and living with family is the stupidist idea sinse Mussilini's career adviser had an `inside tip to the way to the top`. Before a seed became a flower there was a vision ...

Saturday, April 29, 2006. Faith-on-a-Plate and the Dreadded Stage Four. An encore in the moan about church series). I was in SPCK. I'm not saying that all the pointless supephelous objects have no place whatsoever: any reminder of God's love lying around the desk at work or on the fridge cannot hurt, but I think, naive spoilt Chrsitians can get lost in the `things`. Now - that's all brilliant and on paper, probably what God wants for us (in the main)! I often think that to the dangerously passive prole i...

Monday, January 16, 2006. When we say `I surrender everything to God`, what do we really mean by that? I went for a run today and was praying but i thought, why is it I say that the most when I have the least to loose? Why is it that God's more useful when He takes away than when He imparts the blessing in the first place? Do I actually think of Him as much as I think about dinner? Do I give a second thoguht to the work He entrusted me with? Posted by Ben F. Foster Esq. (c) @ 4:49 PM. Carl Politicly Cent...

Wednesday, June 29, 2005. Despite the abundance of depression and feelings of apathy towards our society by those living in it, our little circle of idioms and cliches which seem to circulate in pragmatics (as used by such a society) never seems to fail at qualifying it by paraphrase. In my musings on the train today, I thought of just a few of such phrases,. Life is a journey`. Life is a bitch`. Life is series of problems`. Life is like a box of chocolates`. Ultimately a journey has to end after the beg...

Sunday, October 23, 2005. Current philosophy on life in the shell of a nut. It strikes me that the world is consumed by three types of happyness - the type that people find, the type that finds people and that happyness which is promised by never gratified. I think my life right now is a composite of all three. My job (and money status) seems to desire happyness - i know they will get better with time and prayer - but if life is a stew, i think at the moment, mine would be beef. Love benvolio, x. The Ben...
