Wedding Thrift.: Please (don't) Wait To Be Seated.
http://weddingthrift.blogspot.com/2011/02/please-dont-wait-to-be-seated.html
Friday, February 4, 2011. Please (don't) Wait To Be Seated. Dogs (ours in particular of course! Spending time with) Friends. Spending time with) Family. And now the photos came into the picture. We had a blast and many-a-fit-of-nostalgia going through all of our photos to find some that would represent each category. We picked two per category, and ordered simple 4 x 6 prints from a cheap online store (in this case, Snapfish). We still use our wine glasses to this day, and the best part is remembering ou...

Wedding Thrift.: Super Cheap & Easy Gift Bags
http://weddingthrift.blogspot.com/2011/02/super-cheap-easy-gift-bags.html
Tuesday, February 8, 2011. Super Cheap and Easy Gift Bags. For the past few Halloweens, I have bought candy and made little goodie bags for my staff at work. It's not that I am that into Halloween, but I think little gestures like that can really make someone's day, and show appreciation for their work. In black and white ink to save money (color ink is expensive! I had my goodie bags ready to go and do their job of bringing smiles to faces:. Smudges are the identifying info whited out). Wedding Thrift.: Free Save The Date Cards!
http://weddingthrift.blogspot.com/2011/02/free-save-date-cards.html
Monday, February 28, 2011. Free Save The Date Cards! Our Save the Date cards were really simple. There was no fancy graphic (well, except for Wordle, which is super cool), but we used some funky envelopes we obtained for free through freecycle.org, and we made nifty M J (Maggie Jake) magnets which recipients could use to post the card on their fridge. Everyone loved the cards. Using an image from the Graphic's Fairy. A site which I have sufficiently raved about in the past. Or mix and match: use a colore...

Wedding Thrift.: Thank You, Internet!
http://weddingthrift.blogspot.com/2011/01/thank-you-internet.html
Sunday, January 16, 2011. Thank You, Internet! Sometimes I get down on technology. Like in this post. By which I still stand! The whole virtual reality really gets to me. People text instead of talk, blog instead of actively create, or live vicariously through others instead of exploring the world on their own. Everywhere I go, people are connected and addicted. I've seen countless near-death accidents by people texting while crossing these New York City streets (yes, Andy, that includes you! I plan to m...

Wedding Thrift.: July 2009
http://weddingthrift.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 17, 2009. I'm a married woman! Even my most critical friends and family had one thing to say: "I wouldn't change a single thing if I could.". I have so much to share and say, but it will have to wait until I return from my honeymoon. I will share one thing I have learned, though: There is a difference between making the wedding personal. Much more to share. See you in three weeks! Posted by Maggie Mayer. Thursday, July 9, 2009. Photo Shoot: Wedding Food. Ciao, til way later,. Ok, so here is ...
