Truvía natural sweetener Product Review. If you know me at all, you know that I love all things sweet. But I am getting older, getting smarter, and need to start watching what I put into my body. If you are not familiar with this handy dandy little delight, Truvia is a 100% natural zero calorie sweetener that is completely delicious! I have used it in coffee and tea, and find myself using half of a packet, as opposed to my usual two packets of sugar or splenda. I am hooked on Truvia. Lover, Fighter, Drea...

Seriously? The boys who keep you company… they are only doing it for their own benefit…. That boy you met at the political event? There are many more men that I could warn you about, but you’ll end up dealing with them each in a unique way that I would never want you to change. Because, though sometimes ...I know ...

My views on the current state of Twitter and Social Media. | Miss Delish

My views on the current state of Twitter and Social Media. The band Say Anything. Worded it best in their song Admit It! From their 2004 album …Is A Real Boy. You spend your time sitting in circles with your friends. Pontificating to each other. Forever competing for that one moment of self-aggrandizing glory. In which you hog the intellectual spotlight. Holding dominion over the entire shallow pointless conversation. Oh, we’re not worthy. When you walk by a group of quote-unquote normal people. Couture ...

Singularly Random: June 2010
http://singularlyrandom.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 6, 2010. Spark" is a term that I hear often in relation to dating. In my experience, it's been used many times in relation to why I'm not getting a second date. As in: "You're a nice guy, but I just didn't feel a spark. We can be friends, but I don't think we should go out again.". But I don't think I can base a relationship's future solely on their existence or lack thereof. I don't think that sparks always develop immediately. Not to mention that it takes far more than a spark.

Singularly Random: May 2010

Monday, May 31, 2010. I'm good at making lists. I've got a lot of them. A "To Do" list, a wish list, a bucket list, a "bad habits to break" list.and more. They're not all written down, but they're at least in my head somewhere. Making them is easy. Executing them is more difficult. Really.I want to have fewer lists. Shorter lists. I need to do something about it. I need to make a step toward taking that grand adventure. Friday, May 21, 2010. Out With the New, In With the Old. A few years ago, I got into ...

Singularly Random: April 2012
http://singularlyrandom.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 22, 2012. My propensity and skill for procrastination are very well demonstrated and documented over the years. I continually tell myself that there will be time to do all these things and more down the road. Time to get in shape. Time to meet the woman of my dreams and start a family. Time to write that second novel. Time to learn to play guitar. Time to take improv classes. Time to learn to ballroom dance. I've failed at many, many things in my life. Fear of making a mistake? That may be ...

Singularly Random: March 2012
http://singularlyrandom.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 23, 2012. When I was in college I was never really a party animal or anything, but my Friday nights were definitely a time to be social. A coffee house, video games in someone's dorm room, out for pizza, an occasional. Addictive word game). I looked up and suddenly realized it was after 9:00. So I snuggled up with my computer and did some work on my taxes. What happened to me? College Josh would be so disappointed. Friday, March 9, 2012. Once Upon a Time. On television and Mirror Mirror.

Singularly Random: Once Upon a Time...
http://singularlyrandom.blogspot.com/2012/03/once-upon-time.html
Friday, March 9, 2012. Once Upon a Time. I kind of like the resurgence in fairy tales in Hollywood recently. Between Once Upon a Time. On television and Mirror Mirror. And Snow White and the Huntsman. Coming out as movies, it looks like the memo is going around and it looks like they're attempting to take some new and interesting angles. And The Three Little Pigs. I enjoy looking at the motivation of "the bad guy". I mean, what if the Big Bad Wolf was just hungry? Can you blame him for wanting a bit of r...
