Monday, October 6, 2008. In memory of Matthew Shepard, October 6, 1998. The Laramie Project: Tectonic Theater. And About Face Theatre. Labels: About Face Theatre. I saw a performance of The Laramie project a few years ago and it was very moving. October 8, 2008 at 6:38 PM. This reading was incredibly affecting. The About Face youth ensemble did a little of the narration - really a powerful evening. October 8, 2008 at 8:05 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Books on my pile.

No One Asked Us! Wednesday, August 31, 2005. DON'T WANNA/ but I do. I miss the crim centre. I really really do. I have been feeling like crap for the past two days. I went and had my last shift at Robarts yesterday and was dancing up and down the stack so happy that I got to leave that place. But I also went down to crim to see Andrea (my supervisor) and to see how she was. Now I am looking at the database company where I am now employed and it pales in comparison. The other strange news is that I have a...

In the past 23 Things blog for the Innovations Team, I did my own map of places that were central to my childhood. Thing 14. Check out My Maps on Google Maps. I’m not sure if this could potentially count for my own 23 Things blog post. Nonetheless, I’m going to use a little bit of that. And 17 Google Maps mashups. They are pretty funny and cool. And lest we forget the Summit Cheeseburger Map.

Friday, October 24, 2008. Make sure it adds value. I drove 4 of us to the RA 2.0 (Adult Reading Round Table) program the other day in Schaumburg and I knew all of the jargon (thnx ELL! 160;Having lived much of this info in the whirlwind of ELL, it was good to hear some additional applications for some of these tools and also be reminded that this is where we are right now (and we're all. And that's really something to remember. . Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Okay, I miss...

http://publicvilification.blogspot.com/2005_10_01_archive.html
No One Asked Us! Sunday, October 30, 2005. Oh for heavens sake. You know those moments you have when you have ended a relationship with someone and you see something that reminds you of the times you had together? Like you find a letter they wrote you? Or a photo that slid down behind the couch? And you feel mixed emotions, perhaps a little sadness and a little happiness from the memory of what you once had? Well how about when you are reminded of someone you hate? Have a good halloween. Seriously. O...

Got the Big Eye. Too tired to read, too wired to sleep. Friday, June 20, 2014. A Perfect Lady Business Storm. This week three Very Annoying Posts came across my screen in a perfect Lady Business storm to set off this triple-header of a rant. Salty language and all the triggers I've ever had are included. You have been warned. George Will Mansplains "Rape Privilege". Some Guy in North Carolina Whines. Procter and Gamble continues to Tell Women What to Do. Colleges become the victims of progressivism".

http://laura-bymyshelf.blogspot.com/2008/10/mackerel-economics.html
Monday, October 6, 2008. Mackerel Economics (Life after ELL). Seems like the right time for a new currency but apparently there has been a healthy mackerel economy. In federal prisons since 2004. Given the prohibition on smoking in prisons, cigarettes have lost their value and since prisoners can't possess cash, the currency is mack, of course! And has little monetary value on the outside. .
