Saturday, August 26, 2006. Not the greatest start. Fingers crossed though as hoping to have premiership football in Reading for a little while! Posted by Pete Bray at 8:49 pm. Monday, August 21, 2006. Of all the places. Such are the delights that I usually end up with a sandwich! Oh well. Its much nicer on the other side, better pay, car allowance, and the feeling that the company does actually look after its staff! Posted by Pete Bray at 8:22 pm. Saturday, August 19, 2006. Roll on the next 9 months!

I spent a lot of Sunday with two close friends of mine, Ben and Sinead, and their kids, Libby (almost 3) and Katherine (my goddaughter). Had a pleasant lunch and then went to the park in the afternoon. I also met up again with them yesterday, on a day trip to Oxford, to see another friend, Jo and Jonny. Posted by Pete Bray at 9:52 pm. Monday, October 16, 2006. Back in the UK. Back in the UK now, landed Sat morning. Flight was ok, quite bumpy compared to way over, but still managed a couple of hours sleep. Had great fun Saturday afternoon as was looking after my goddaughter Katherine who is now (I think) around 7 months old. For the most part she was easy to look after! Went to see the Irish at Madjeski yesterday - hardly worth it as we lost convincingly against Sale - not too promising in advance of the Heineken Cup match this Friday!

Thursday, January 18, 2007. Have finally managed to find the time to get to the cinema and see Casino Royale. And it has definately been worth the wait. Very glad that I caught it on the big screen rather than waiting for its small screen debut. All in all, a great film and I'm looking forward to seeing this again. Hard to compare with all the other Bond films as have seen most over and over again, but on first impressions, this has the makings of one of the best Bond films! Posted by Pete Bray at 9:53 am.

Friday, May 26, 2006. Sven of course found plenty of positives to talk about, but its hard to see them from where we were sat. And yes their first goal, played into an empty net passed our injured keeper was a bit unsporting, but our only goal on the replays showed Michael Owen well and truly offside! Tuesday, July 10, 2007. But that makes me sound like an old man! I can't believe that I first saw Metallica 12 years ago when they headlined Donnigton at the Monsters of Rock, but they have lost none of their crowd pleasing abilities by pumping out classic heavy riffs! Posted by Pete Bray at 9:50 pm. Friday, July 06, 2007. I think that the triathlon was probably not quite as tough as when I did the Reading half marathon. Although pretty close! But the run was pure torture! Transition 1 - 3m19s. Run - 38m...

Sunday, February 18, 2007. Back in the UK now after the long flight back, the jet lag hasn't really kicked in but I'm certain it will pretty soon. Yesterday morning the weather in San Francisco was amazing as we walked down Market St to the Embarcadero, and we just chilled enjoy the warm weather! Posted by Pete Bray at 4:21 pm. Saturday, February 17, 2007. Yosemite is a fair old drive, about 200 miles, and a late getaway, heavy traffic, and a couple of wrong turns meant we drove the last hour and a half ...

http://pwbray.blogspot.com/2007_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 26, 2007. Well, after a fair bit of training over the past few months, the big day arrived, and I'm happy to announce that I completed the Reading Half Marathon yesterday, in a time of 2:15 (according to my watch - the official clock read 2:28 but I did spend the first 10 minutes not going anywhere! So am very happy with myself - one item ticked off my New Years Resolution list. On with the next ones. Some photos are included, and if this is in french its because I am in France at the momen...
