Friday, 26 January 2007. Went to sydney at the beginning of this week, that was fantastic, did all the toristy things saw the bridge and the opera house. ive got some cool photos! Wasnt really a shopping day though! And have to be good as i cant fit much to take home! It was australia day friday, so watched a parade marc was playing in, i didnt play in the end as i didnt have uniform. then they did a tourch lite parade in the evening for the fireman! Hope all is well with everyone will see u all soon xxx.

Monday, 15 January 2007. It's hot hot hot. Hello every one,. Have not had such a hectic few days, at the weekend marc was doing some shifts at the pub so i hit the beach saturday, and then we went and had fish and chips on the beach in the evening and had a game of poker with sweets for chips, didnt do too bad! On sunday i met up with a girl called katy from the band marc is conducting, we went to a fresh produce and craft market which was really nice! Quite a sleepy little town! Loads of love and hugs.

Friday, 12 January 2007. My 2 days in Melbourne. As marc had to work for two days about 45 mins outside of melbourne i dicided id get the train into the city and do a little exploring! I booked a room for the night in a hotel, which ended up to be right on the main pedestrian shopping mall! Which wasnt bad at all! I was very restrained didnt buy a pair. Anyway i went up melbourne observation deck which is on the top of what until recently was the tallest building in melbourne. the views were amazing!

Wednesday, 17 January 2007. We took a trip to a place called Phillip Island, about 2 hrs away form blairgowrie, went to a koala reserve where there were board walks into the tree tops and you got to see the koalas up close! The rangers put out fresh trees branches out for them and thats when they moved to eat them. apart from that they slept alot! Got some cool photos! The you could watch them waddling up the beach and they had a waklkway over their burrows in the sand! Where is my damn postcard!

Monday, October 16, 2006. Back in the UK. Back in the UK now, landed Sat morning. Flight was ok, quite bumpy compared to way over, but still managed a couple of hours sleep. Had great fun Saturday afternoon as was looking after my goddaughter Katherine who is now (I think) around 7 months old. For the most part she was easy to look after! Went to see the Irish at Madjeski yesterday - hardly worth it as we lost convincingly against Sale - not too promising in advance of the Heineken Cup match this Friday!

Thursday, January 18, 2007. Have finally managed to find the time to get to the cinema and see Casino Royale. And it has definately been worth the wait. Very glad that I caught it on the big screen rather than waiting for its small screen debut. All in all, a great film and I'm looking forward to seeing this again. Hard to compare with all the other Bond films as have seen most over and over again, but on first impressions, this has the makings of one of the best Bond films! Posted by Pete Bray at 9:53 am.
