Friday, October 31, 2008. Funny, the last thing you heard from me was that I was back from Mexico and now after 3 weeks in the office I am off to Peru! The team I am leading is seasoned when it comes to Book of Hope trips, I believe this makes #10 for them! After these travels the next time I get on a plane it will be bringing me back home to Ohio.to my family.to my friends.to Kyle :). I hope you get to spend good quality time with Jesus this week and I will see you again on the flip side!

Monday, January 28, 2008. Last one before I go. I head out around 7pm on Wednesday January 30th. I head to Costa Rica, hang out for a day, and then I will take a 10 hour bus ride up to Nicaragua. Crazy! In other news.I have had a some people ask for the address at language school. We will be working with some missionaries there so you can send letters or whatnot to that address:. Saturday, November 8, 2008. It Never Gets Easier. It is only Jesus that can bring people together for just a week and make me cry when I leave. After 14 months, 10 countries and 8 teams it hasn't gotten any easier to say good-bye. This past week (in 5 days! We were able to reach roughly 15,724 kids with the Book of Hope (God's Word) in 24 presentations. That is sooo many kids and with an estimated 5 people who read each book that is possibly 78,620 lives reached! Your stories are always so encouraging!

The school is a 7 min walk away and one of my good friends from church teaches 1st grade there so we get the inside scoop. It is a great school and he enjoys it immensely. Wednesday, July 23, 2008. Cole spent a week at Safety Village to learn all about riding bikes, crossing the street and fire safety. It was a fun week for him and he graduated with honors. Now he tries to teach my social butterfly, Lydia, who strangers are since she thinks that everyone is a friend and yells hi. The world we live in. And had an awesome time out on their sailboat. Cole got to learn a bit more about sailing from the pros, Aunt Sue and Jack. Steve and Tom loved the chance to jump in again.

Thursday, October 25, 2007. Steve has been asked to take a 14 hour busride with Isaac, (an Engage student) to Laredo Texas tomorrow night. They are headed up there to help Steve Shoop (director of Engage) bring a newer van across the border with sound equipment and a puppet stage. So we made the most of an opportunity and spent an amazing day at Magic Kingdom and two at Sea World. It was a sweet trip.
