I chose three animals to research, the Sabre Tooth Tiger, the Wooly Mammoth and the Moa. I found an astonishing fact about all of them:. The Sabre Tooth Tigers were not actually related to the modern tigers of Asia. The Wooly Mammoth was not the only wooly prehistoric animal there was also the Wooly Rhino. And the Moa's beak was as sharp as garden scissors and could easily cut a flax leaf.

Winton School Room 10. Thursday, 30 April 2015. My class and I have been learning about Anzac. We've been learning about our ancestors who went to war and what the soldiers did for us. We also learned what the poppies mean. I think the whole idea of Anzac is to remember those who fought for our country. We should be very grateful for the men who were killed for our fredom. On and around ANZAC Day you should wear a poppy as a sign of remembrance for those who fought. It was the dead of night on the 24 th.
