Our Journey to Sleep Training. Posted in Arieanna & Ianiv. Sleep like a baby. 8230; you mean, Scream, suck on a boob for half an hour, nod off, wake up in 45 minutes, and repeat. Cause that’s how it was for us for 4 months, pretty much. I don’t think you can even bring up the words sleep training. In a roomful of people without a lot of opinions on the topic. But this is our journey and I wanted to share it. Yeah, motherhood is great. I love my baby. But I had NO idea that you have to. I mean, seriously?

Plotting points through chaos. trying to connect the dots. I try to keep it more or less anonymous around here, just because it’s the internets and you never know. If you know me in real life, please play along. A day in the life. I love my banjo. Still poor and don't care. This is a relief. Two wheels are best. Musings of a guy drinking milk. Daily dose of imagery. Overheard in new york. Alice’s adventures in academia. Ianqui in the village. The bitter and the sweet. The doctor isn’t.

Plotting points through chaos. trying to connect the dots. This is an homage to the Iraqi journalist Muntadhar al-Zaidi, who famously hurled his shoes at GW Bush in disgust during a December 2008 appearance of the outgoing president. Below is a great article by Sami Ramadani discussing the significance of this powerfully symbolic act of defiance (this was sent to me through the Rights Action listserv, but it also appears all over the internet). SHOES OF COMPREHENSIVE DESTRUCTION. But the words were heard...
