A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE EARL GIRLS! Saturday, May 23, 2009. I started asking around for ideas. from the tech and science teachers at my school to my friends who are engineers. This is what I got. Piece of cake. without any specific advice as to how to make it happen. So this is a high school project right? Can't help you but I'm sorry she has to do this. A few just smiled and laughed. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE EARL GIRLS! Tuesday, August 18, 2009. Bonus points. and then some! Maybe this going back to work thing isn't so bad. Katelyn very cheerily saw me off to work today. http://earlgirls.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE EARL GIRLS! Wednesday, December 29, 2010. A Girl's Gotta Do. As I was looking at yet another thing that is broken, Katelyn and I made a list of all the things I have learned to do in the past decade. They include. Changing the air filter in my car. Replacing the faucets on my washing machine. Installing a mailbox (my first project and it's still standing more than 10 years later). Replacing the cord on the lawn mower. Replacing the control panel on my dishwasher. After our trip c...

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE EARL GIRLS! Wednesday, May 19, 2010. That is how many days we have left of school! I love this time of year. We are counting down and we have the whole summer ahead of us. Katelyn is always very patient with how busy things get for me at school. So far the kids are hanging in there as well. It was fun to see all the kids Kate has been with since Kindergarten and the kids she talks about at home. A lot of life has happened in the past three years! Posted by Ms. Earl.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE EARL GIRLS! Monday, December 15, 2008. The kitchen is finally functional again! I was looking forward to coming home from work and just letting the water run but Katelyn beat me to it. We finally got everything put away on Saturday and did some real grocery shopping. I've been waiting to have a place for my Banana Nut Bread candle and for once, Katelyn didn't even complain when I cooked a roast for Sunday dinner. Even my toast tasted great this morning! http://earlgirls.blogspot.com/2010/12/tile.html
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE EARL GIRLS! Friday, December 24, 2010. Okay, so this post is not really all about tile. It's really just that thinking about how long the tile has been in made me stop and think about how many Christmases we have until Katelyn graduates from high school. I love being Kate's mom. Sometimes I wonder if I've taught her enough or if I've taken it for granted that she has just always been a great kid. Getting her braces off! She was able to get them off the day before she started high...
