Hey,here i am. January 15, 2016. Business English session 1. Here, I am so excited to post my fist blog. I named my blog “missinglotta” because I used to have a lovely poppy and I called her “Lotta”, one day she got lost on her way back home and I never seen her again since that day, I missed her. Friday, September 12, 2008. At last - Dateline Balad Air Base, Iraq (otherwise known as Mortaritaville, Afiraqistan, LSA Anaconda, Joint Base Balad, etc., etc.). Sure took a lot of GatorAde and water. There's supposed to be cable TV, but mine's not working. That's OK because I haven't found a TV anyway and the only thing you can get is the 5 or so channels of AFN (Armed Forces Network). F-16 fighters take off in pairs every 20 minutes or so around the clock and there's always a lot of helicopter traffic.
