Welcome to my blog! I’m glad you stopped by! These writings are the simple musings of a 1st generation denominational leader with a desire to bring hope, inspiration and encouragement to those who read it. My intention is not to preach to you or provide you with sermon outlines, but to provide some relief from the everyday cliches, challenges, and struggles of life. Who’s Next? |

At our recent camp Meeting I watched almost 1400 teens as they exuberantly worshipped their Lord. What I and many others saw as an amazing event should not have been viewed as such. These were our youth whom we have raised up in our congregations. It seems each preceding generation always questions whether the next generation will be able to carry the torch of the faith. Did Martin Luther or other great fathers of the faith think they were the last to declare the beautiful story of Jesus Christ? What I c...

Your own ears will hear him.Right behind you a voice will say,“This is the way you should go,”whether to the right or to the left. Isaiah 30:20-22. Monday, November 30, 2009. It is that time of year again and as I look back at my post I may have accomplished one of my new years resolutions! Why do we do this to ourselves anyway, is it some sort of sadomasochistic desire to hurt ourselves or a desire to truly better ourselves? If so what do you think they might be? Links to this post. For God and Country.

This blog will appear disjointed to many, simply thats because it is. I have written this over several weeks so many thoughts may have already been covered and I refuse to delete anything. Pastor Jack’s Weblog. Real life over a cup of coffee. July 31, 2010. What a month…! For those who don’t know the count down above is tracking my “new life”. I started counting after I made a commitment to exercise and eat right. So far I have lost 45 pounds as of this week! Jackson is especially stoked about spending time with his cousins! Probably the most exciting news and update for this past month just arrived on Wednesday of this week. We finally received the paper work and notice that JaimeR...

Answered prayer | Pastor Jack's Weblog
https://critzpastor.wordpress.com/2010/09/18/answered-prayer
Pastor Jack’s Weblog. Real life over a cup of coffee. September 18, 2010. Nope, we don’t have a house yet, although we may be getting close. Nope we don’t have new jobs yet either. Out of all the “Big” prayer request I have recently…nothing! Apparently, sitting and the sciatica nerve don’t get along very well. Of all the prayers to answer, of all the prayers we have prayed recently, the one answered first was that one. Don’t misunderstand. I am grateful, extremely grateful. Posted in Deep thoughts or not.
