http://missionbound.blogspot.com/2013/06/the-third-annual-ferdinand-awards.html
Returning to Japan, the adventures never cease. Tuesday, June 25, 2013. The Third Annual Ferdinand* Awards. It’s that time again! Adventures in Mission: March 2013

Returning to Japan, the adventures never cease. Saturday, March 30, 2013. Hiking, Part 1. Did anyone else notice the excess commas in the previous post? I do like commas, add them in whenever I feel like it, and overuse them. My friend, the comma. I should go back and fix that post . but I probably won't. Of course the group photo is different : ). I can't find the official name for the hanging decorations. I think they might be called Tsurushi Bina and represent prayers of health for daughters. ...Befor...

Hermetic Homiletics: April 2005
http://hermetichomiletics.blogspot.com/2005_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 27, 2005. 1 May 2005, part 2. There is a popular phrase among missiologists (those are the people who study mission ). Christians are a missionary people of a missionary God. Sounds nice doesn’t it. But I suspect that this statement is often used in a self-aggrandizing way that validates abusive mission. Saul and Paul may very well typify two types of spiritual orientation, two ways of understanding who God is and how God operates in the world. Posted by irreverance @ 1:29 PM. I need to ...

Saturday, May 28, 2005. 29 May 2005: "Getting Perspecitve". Genesis 6:9-22; 7:24; 8:14-19, 9.9-15. And the waters swelled on the earth for one hundred fifty days. . And it even remains the case when people engage religious classics, like the Bible. The Story of Noah’s Ark as a Religious Classic. The basic rundown of the story goes something like this:. God realizes that this whole program was a cosmic mistake and decides, I have to take care of this once and for all. God then makes plans to destroy a...
