Mission: iPossible

Mission: iPossible was founded for the purpose of connecting those in the Special Needs Community who have a specific need to those that have the ability to fulfill that need. We like to think of ourselves as 'Giving Facilitators'. The Organization was born out of a quest to honor a promise made to 40 Special Needs children who were declared winners in an iPad giveaway contest, that was canceled prior to fulfillment, hosted by a blog site known as Marissa's Bunny.

Mission: iPossible: M:4 Results

http://missionipossible.blogspot.com/2012/03/m4-results.html

Tuesday, March 20, 2012. Not going to have a bunch of fanfare or hoopla, just going to get right to it. Since Mission 3 was very distinctively about trying to choose Recipients ourselves based on our own reasons individually, we wanted to go another route entirely for Mission 4. Also, since it had been so long since we had fired up Mission 2 back before Christmas, we decided to attack the Candidate List sequentially. Therefore, the Recipients for Mission 4 are as follows:. MiP, another mission complete.

Mission: iPossible: September 2011

http://missionipossible.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html

Friday, September 30, 2011. Who would have thought, that a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers family and a die-hard Baltimore Ravens family could look past this budding NFL rivalry, one of the best in the league right now, and instead actually become forever linked in a positive way because of a funky contest for an iPad gone wrong? Stranger things have happened I guess. When Joseph's iPad showed up, his parents were scrambling to get a lot of stuff ready for their Buddy Cruise. To apologize because she had to...

Mission: iPossible: February 2012

http://missionipossible.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html

Wednesday, February 29, 2012. Get That Man Some Pants! Just wanted to get your attention. ;). A long time ago, around these parts, we had our Mission One going, and one of the Recipients (as they came to be called) by the name of Eric Olson (whom I have mentioned before in various places) was here on behalf of his son Liam. Naturally, because of that whole Testosterone and facial hair thing, Eric and I started up a bit of an online friendship. He is a God in the NFL. What exactly does that mean? I'm joki...

From the Heart: Yarn along and a book review, or two!

Living life. From The Heart. Wednesday, September 10, 2014. Yarn along and a book review, or two! Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading (though not at the same time! And the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs. I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading? My boy's ventilator really blows. It was 11:18pm when we went in to check on Liam. Now, with his temperature rising, the shivering motion that resolved so quickly in the morning was present and stronger. His rate of breathing was about three times what it should be. By a quarter to 12am we were calling 911. 8220;Even though he looks fine now, we haven’t gotten any answers as to what happened to cause him to get here. We made subtle changes to his vent settings only a few hours ago! The wait was kind of b...

My boy's ventilator really blows. The Year (so far) in Pictures. Full disclosure, If you follow me on Instagram ( pressuresupport. Or Twitter ( @pressuresupport). You’ve probably already seen most of this, But this way, you can see it again all in one place. I guess I just picked the wrong year to fall off of my blogging game, because Liam’s 6th year has been a pretty good one. His hips however are both dislocated. He’s still a rock star. Don’t care, I’m still walking. Yes other than that Liam stayed awa...

My boy's ventilator really blows. Admittedly, it’s a lot of pressure and meaning to put on some ink under my skin. But that’s just it…. All of my Ink, Means something. Besides, that shop in town has a sign that says twenty dollar tuesdays for any words 5 letters or less.”. Yeah, good idea, that would be great.” I said waving her off and assuming we were joking, especially since I was due to be at work in less than an hour. “yeah, let’s get tattoos.”. Liam the Ninja and his new Belt.  | Pressure Support

My boy's ventilator really blows. Liam the Ninja and his new Belt. We almost didn’t make it to see Walter at all. (You’ve heard me talk about Walter in my speech here. 8220;I’ll just text Walter that we aren’t going to make it. This is nuts, it’s going to be over before we even make it there.” She said. 8220;You made it! Walter wouldn’t have it though, and only a few minutes after we got settled the sensei addressed his students for the last time. A few minutes in to an already emotional speech...I don&#...

From the Heart: A book review

http://fromtheheart-anna.blogspot.com/2015/04/a-book-review.html

Living life. From The Heart. Tuesday, April 21, 2015. Sadly my book review is a little overdue because of all of the excitement! I need to start marking my calendar to make sure I get these reviews posted on time! I'm going to easily give this five stars on Amazon. This book was recieved from Bethany publishers for review. This review is my opinion. I was provided a copy of the book for review purposes but in no way compensated for a positive review. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Whats in my studio.

Wednesday, April 18, 2012. In the meantime, a good friend of mine who is, surprisingly, from outside our SN Community, sent me a link to this article, called Aeir Talk Gives A Father’s Autistic Kids A Voice. The App for Communication looks very promising, and when I get some time I intend to download it and give it a shot. How can you NOT do it for only $1.99! Hope you all are doing well. Mission:Iran

Tuesday, March 20, 2007. Before the whole shit sinks to the sea. Posted by Mission: Iran at Tuesday, March 20, 2007. Links to this post.
