The end of this summer is finally near and it feels bittersweet. We have really enjoyed being out here in Kentucky but we are ready to get back to a daily routine. I will definitely miss everything here. The greenery, my spacious apartment, no school, etc. We have less than a week now and then we are off. We started out running late this morning, but we decided to just embrace it and not rush which actually made for a pleasant morning. After church and naps it was time for our advent activity of the day. We started out with Tyson reading our scripture passage to the kids. Sunday, May 31, 2015. Yesterday Lily and Charlotte got to preform in their Spring recitals. We have really enjoyed this last year at Canyon Dance Academy. Charlotte has watched Lily go to dance classes for a couple of years now and she has really enjoyed it being her turn. Lily's class did tap as well as ballet in class. Sunday, April 20, 2014. Next year I'll try my best not to schedule a big race the day before Easter. It sure threw me off and everything felt so rushed getting ready for both at the same time. Since Saturday was going to be so busy the kids and I dyed Easter eggs on Friday. We only spilled one cup of dye (red, of course) but otherwise it was a pretty easy and fun process. Sunday, January 19, 2014. Little man has decided not to be so little anymore. I don't notice him getting bigger and then all of the sudden it seems that his clothes no longer fit. It shouldn't be surprising though, this baby boy LOVES food, all kinds of food, and is starting to prefer to feed himself over the spoon-fed baby food. I don't mind at all. He's so busy, never sits still, not even when he insists on being help, he still wants to grab everything around him. He's such a happy little guy! Subscrib...

Friday, February 28, 2014. I've been putting it off, because he is so young still, but this afternoon I broke down and cut Gideon's hair. I'm not overly attached to my baby's hair, if I don't like how it is growing in, I trim it. Gideon has had this long patch on top with some tufts on the sides and today it looked to puffy because of the stuff growing in underneath. I took nearly an inch and a half off the top. It was a challenging experience, using the clippers on a wiggly baby, but we made it work.

Saturday, December 6, 2014. December 6th- Donate Toys. This was grumpy day number two for me so again, sorry for the lack of photos. Today's scripture came from Luke: 5:1-11 and Luke 6:12-16. In these passages Jesus tells his future apostles where to cast their nets for fish and then calls them to follow Him and become fishers of men. Saturday, May 31, 2014. Lily's Spring Dance Recital. May is a busy month for us. It culminated in Lily's Spring Dance recital. She loves to be on stage in her costume! Wednesday, May 28, 2014. Memorial Day Camping Trip. Over Memorial Day weekend we decided to go camping. We made it a simple trip close to home. We went over near Payette and camped with the Jenkins and Miller families. We love camping with friends! The kids just ran around the camp site together all day long. Gideon just loved the water.
