The Pain of Blossoming: Oh, the Places You'll Go!
http://lalalatesa.blogspot.com/2009/08/ch-ch-changes.html
The Pain of Blossoming. Friday, August 28, 2009. Oh, the Places You'll Go! For some hope and inspiration, I defer to Dr. Seuss' Oh, the Places You'll Go! You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself. Any direction you choose. You're on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the one who'll decide where to go. You won’t lag behind, because you’ll have the speed. You’ll pass the whole gang and you’ll soon take the lead. I'm sorry to say so. But, sadly it's true.

http://lalalatesa.blogspot.com/2009/09/walking-in-memphis.html
The Pain of Blossoming. Sunday, September 13, 2009. Downtown. No trip to Memphis is complete without getting a burger or something from there. (In truth, I might have went to Memphis to go to Huey's more tha. James and I are on Beale Street in this picture. There's still so many things I want to see and do in Memphis. So that was my Labor Day weekend, and it was great. Then I'm walking in Memphis. Walking with my feet ten feet off of Beale. Posted by The Pain of Blossoming. Miss you. 3. Let it be Lindsey.

The Pain of Blossoming: April 2009
http://lalalatesa.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
The Pain of Blossoming. Wednesday, April 22, 2009. Oh yeah.and World Peace. I've been reading this book called The Faith Club: A Muslim, A Christian, A Jew- Three Women Search for Understanding. I've read enough now to understand how deeply and tragically conflicts evolved between the Jews and the Arabs over time. But I need to have a dream, to believe that place can exist again. Imperfectly and improbably. And I believe that being a dreamer might in fact take more courage than being a cynic. Could I hea...

The Pain of Blossoming: It Won't All Go the Way it Should
http://lalalatesa.blogspot.com/2009/05/it-wont-all-go-way-it-should.html
The Pain of Blossoming. Sunday, May 17, 2009. It Won't All Go the Way it Should. Life has this tendency to get absolutely crazy for a while. I've also noticed that when it rains, it doesn't always pour. Sometimes there is a monsoon. Or a tornado. I just feel like there is *too* much going on in my life right now, and I honestly don't feel like I'm strong enough to carry it much longer. Also, I don't feel old enough to deal with some of it either. Bascially it breaks down to:. Let it be Lindsey.

The Pain of Blossoming: Peanut Butter Pie Perfection
http://lalalatesa.blogspot.com/2009/10/peanut-butter-pie-perfection.html
The Pain of Blossoming. Monday, October 5, 2009. Peanut Butter Pie Perfection. The crust is a home-made vanilla wafer crust topped with a chocolate ganache layer and filled with light, sweet, peanut buttery deliciousness. James and his parents both liked it, as did I. Now I'm a little more prepared and willing to take on more pie recipes.I just thought I would share with those who also love baking, so you can see what I've been whipping up lately. :). The Pain of Blossoming: Friends, Fun, and Food on the Fourth
http://lalalatesa.blogspot.com/2009/07/friends-fun-and-food-on-fourth.html
The Pain of Blossoming. Sunday, July 12, 2009. Friends, Fun, and Food on the Fourth. I believe it is time for an update once again. Other than that, I've been working at The Grotto. Some weeks are really busy complete with working 8 to 11 hour days and getting up at 6:30 after closing the night before. Other weeks were really slow (nights.when I close) and I don't work very many hours. I'm definitely ready to be done working there though (less than a month now! Posted by The Pain of Blossoming.

The Pain of Blossoming: June 2009
http://lalalatesa.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
The Pain of Blossoming. Wednesday, June 17, 2009. Some People Find the Beauty in all of this. I want to update. I need to. I have so much to say, yet nothing to say. I want to write about it, but I don't want anyone to know. I'm solving this quandary by just writing and seeing what comes out. An update on all the health scares that were going on last time I wrote:. Mom's surgery went very well. We had a long day at the hospital, but she made (and is continuing to make) a great recovery. This last Saturda...
