Saturday, November 9, 2013. You may have read the last post. And thought. A baseball game? I mean 20 years is a pretty big deal. Not everyone can make it to that milestone (and wow isn't that a sad commentary on our world). No that wasn't it and shame on you for thinking it. We LOVE baseball! It's kinda our thing. So it was really a fun thing to do. Day One: The Adventure Begins. We also traveled to California for a week. Rented a Mustang Convertible and drove up the coast. How cool is that? People I'm P...

http://navywifelife.blogspot.com/2015/07/change-of-command.html
Friday, July 31, 2015. On June 24th I attended the Change of Command ceremony on the USS Wisconsin. You may be asking yourself, what is a change of command. I'm so glad you asked! Is a military tradition that represents a formal transfer of authority and responsibility for a unit from one commanding or flag officer to another. This change of command was for SURFLANT. I can already hear your question. What's SURFLANT? Aren't you all on your toes today. Now don't you feel educated? Chasing This Light Blog.
