Life on Planet Band. Monday, May 18, 2009. Another weekend, another great time except Monday comes around way too fast! Yesterday, I popped into the city and cheered some friends on in the SMH half marathon. We were situated on the Hunter Street hill and it was pretty inspiring watchign the runners head up the hill and maintain their pace. So inspiring in fact that I've just signed up for the 9km Bridge Run. In September. Now to start running. Too true. It will be interesting to see what head issues ...

Life on Planet Band. Tuesday, June 2, 2009. My other half had a dreadful flu last week from which he's still trying to recover and at work, everyone has been ill with it including my manager who I've never known to take sick day in 7 years and was off for 3 days! Seems I've finally been infected by the masses. Sigh. Let's see if it turns out to be the hideous version of the flu or if it's a mild head cold. I'm hoping it's just a mild thing. Life on Planet Band. Tuesday, May 12, 2009. Well, didn't I just get a nasty little shock this morning on the scales - 92.4kg! How did I regain the 1.1kg I lost last week overnight? Hmmm makes the personal training I've signed up for even more necessary than it was before! Yes, I'm back at PT and first session is tomorrow. I'm going to be in agony tomorrow night. how much am I looking forward to that? This is a super quick and easy dinner - just love it. Pasta with Pancetta, Spinach, Ricotta and Pinenuts.

We had Community Fire Training today which meant we got to learn about fire behaviour and then practice finding hydrants, fitting stenpipes (sp? Attaching hoses, branches, breachings and getting the Davey pump and sucker all fired up. Ahhhh, I'm a versatile girl and yes, my hose rolling was the best effort of the day. Life on Planet Band. Thursday, May 14, 2009. A new pair of gorgeous Gucci glasses! We had like $1200 racked up in loyalty bonuses! What makes it even better was that two lots of lenses and a pair of frames was about $840 and my healthcare covered $613! Fan-bloody-tastic.
