Gotta love a Ghanaian dish! June 4, 2014. June 4, 2014. Also known as Sorrel, Bissap and Hibiscus Tea in other parts of the world. Wash the fruit of your choice with clean water. If you use pineapple or lemon, peel the skin off the fruit. Put the flower leaves in a pan and add enough water to cover the leaves. If you use pineapple or lemon, add the skin to the flower leaves. Put the mixture on fire to boil over for about 30mins (check to verify if the leaves are soft) and bring it off the fire to cool.

Gotta love a Ghanaian dish! September 26, 2013. October 2, 2013. Sometimes referred to as Pepper Soup or Tomato Soup. Pieces of chicken or fish. Marinade your chicken/fish with blended mix of ginger, garlic and onions. Add a little water and bring to a boil for about 10 mins. Blend tomatoes, pepper together. Sieve the mixture with a colander into the boiling chicken/fish. Add a little more water to achieve desired thickness. Allow mixture to boil for about 30 mins. Serve with any solid of your choice.

Put water on fire to boil and pour the pasta in the boiling water. Leave to cook for about 3-5 minutes. Add salt to taste. Chop the carrots into smaller pieces. You will also need about the same quantity of long grain rice, or slightly less amount as that of the beans. 4/5 cups of water. Soak your preferred beans in water over night in water to become soft and easy to cook. Alternatively, you can soak it for 3 5 hours in the morning, should you want to prepare this meal for lunch or dinner. Add salt to taste.
