September 18, 2013. August 30, 2014. Luzern is one of my favourite cities situated in the Swiss-German part of Switzerland. The old town is lovely, complete with cobbled streets and drinking fountains. The Chapel Bridge is the symbol of Luzern, and is a great place to have a photo. This covered wooden bridge is the oldest of its kind in Europe. The paintings on the interior of the bridge date back to the 17th century.
