Friday, 27 May 2011. Lesson from the dough. The first time I made cinnamon rolls was in school. I don't like cinnamon rolls but I loved what we just made. Chef Vicki was so patient in teaching and tutok. Each one of us when kneading breads; hand kneading and dough machine. Lean dough and Sponge dough. Making bread was one of our memorable experience. No air-con. Two noisy and big kneading/dough machines. Since there were no air-con more pawis. But it was all worth it! Ugly but delicious breads! Eto sigur...

Monday, 4 October 2010. I'm supposed to blog this earlier but instead I blogged about my depression about the world. Hehe. Fish fillet rubbed with salt, pepper and lemon juice. Baked till half cooked. Topped with cheese, added some ground pepper and dried thyme herbs. Baked for few minutes. I learned this cooking when I was in HS. Which influenced me on what to have tonight's dinner, Tacos and sweet corn. What's so good about preparing this dish was having my siblings do some shredding/cutting; preparing and cooking together! Saturday, 25 September 2010. Studio Ghibli: Whisper of the Heart. I like Studio Ghibli's works. So I'm sharing this anime. Whisper of the Heart. It's about Shizuku Tsukishima, a ordinary junior high school students who loves book and literature. Until she met. Seiji Amasawa. Seiji told Shizuku that his dream. I'm not a spoiler, so hope you watch the anime and discover how wonderful the story is. This is my fave part, when Seiji asks Shizuku to sing as he play the violin. This song makes my heart happy.

Saturday, 5 March 2011. I was planning to bake blueberry cheesecake today, unfortunately, I was not able to find blueberry in the grocery. Originally, I planned to make Cherry Cheesecake but Chef kept insisting of using peaches. So here's my Peach-Cherry Cheesecake. Made this cheesecake not too sweet. Tuesday, 13 September 2011. Applying for Marriage License @ Caloocan City Hall. Eto siguro un most unexpected day namin. We have a family friend working in Caloocan City hall. Called her days before, kung ano yung mga requirement na kailangan for the license. She replied through text the next day:. Requirements for Marriage Licence. 2 Birth Certificate (photocopy will do); and. 3 Certificate of attendance to the Family Planning/Marriage Seminar. Got our cedula agad! Our license will be ready after 10 days.
