Will man in der Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin im Internet recherchieren, so kann man dies nur an speziell dafür eingerichteten Computern. Internet scheint in deutschen Bibliotheken noch etwas ganz besonderes zu sein. Man merkt das an mehreren Dingen:. Es gibt immer eine lange Schlange vor den Internetrechnern. Bevor man das Internet benutzen kann, muß man die Benutzungsordnung des Deutschen Forschungsnetzwerks akzeptieren.
