Now a year or so on, there is a significant increase in the number of solar photo voltaic installations in the UK but it is still a tiny proportion of electricity generation. Why? Are homeowners right to be cautious? New schemes could come on line which would be more advantageous which could make selling a property with a feed-in loan more difficult.

Lets face it-most older buildings leak air like sieves and when that air is expensively heated (or cooled) we are wasting money and energy. But sealing up an old building to modern standards is very difficult, so the task is to do what can be done easily and economically. The front door and traditional windows is a good start.
