BABY BI: April 2009
http://gunsted.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
This last week we had the pleasure of a visiter from Germany. Newly named "Uncle Tim" made a rather impromptu visit to see his new little nephew and we all had a wonderful time together. U and I really enjoyed Tim's visit and seeing him bond with KBB. Having a child has made us even more appreciative of our families and the fact that we are so lucky to have uncles, aunts, grandpas and grandmas who love our little Kai. From April 2009 Kai BB has a laugh ;). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Me and My Baby McGee.

He looked me straight in the eye, smiled, and said . "ahhh" which is baby speak for "thank you for the big meal, Im feeling content". This has made the last week of me getting postpartum PUPPPS. Im planning on teaching him to sing "Jingle Bells" by Thursday. :-). Baby Bi's other names. Kleiner doodoo (German for "little doodoo"). Mr Popovich (our favorite). A new name: Mama. Greetings from the Lo-Bialucha home! Now also known as my very permanent base. How's that for a metaphor! Dear friends and family,.

Things Kai Says of the day:. K: Mama, what's that? Points at a store). C: It's a store hunny. K: It's a finger store! It's a nail salon with a poster of a manicured finger. :-). That's no little baby! That's a walking, talking, semi-independent, preschooler who is over 3 feet tall and weighs a ton! Greetings after a busy 1 year 9 months. Life has been good to us and above all, Kai is a happy, active, inquisitive, rather mischievous little boy who is recently cracking us up with the things he says.

The thing that is crazy is that just when you think "the really hard part is over" there's more. Just more. Like we were just getting excited that Kai was learning to sit up, play by himself. this means at least a few more minutes to ourselves right? But dear reader as you can predict, as I always conclude after a giant rant, I wouldn't trade our messy, tardy, scatterbrained, exhausted new life if it meant I had to live even one second without my boy. BABY BI: Here's to the next 10..
http://gunsted.blogspot.com/2010/01/heres-to-next-10.html
Here's to the next 10. Happy Birthday Kai, Merry Christmas, Happy New Years everyone! It was a heck of a decade and I am celebrating the fact that 2000-2010 was a kind decade to me. Uli and I met in January 2000, got married in 2006 and had our beloved Kai in 2008. Not bad work for a brisk and wonderful 10 years. KBB's January 2010 stats. 26 pounds/12.5 kg. I forget, but all his clothes are too short. 4 in, 4 more coming. Walking well, stacking things. 10-11 hours in a row (from 7pm to 5 or 6am).

Tomo arigato, Mama Roboto. Over his birthday and Thanksgiving weekend, my parents got a dose of their grandson and immediately insisted on keeping him for 2 more weeks. By the end of the weekend U and I were sent home back to NY on our own, and it has been the longest 2 weeks ever. Luckily, we head back down to MD tomorrow to pick up our little munchkin. hooray! Although we've missed him like crazy, the past two weeks have given me a chance to reboot, recalibrate and relaunch. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

And green ones at that. ew. Yes we have our first (of most probably MANY) daycare cold and poor KBB is all snotty and has to endure his mama following him around with the nose suction bulb thing. :-(. Last Friday when I was picking him up from daycare, one of his teachers was like "I dont think Im feeling very well". then presumed to kiss him a few times on the face(! The minute we got home I scrubbed his little face and hands but by Saturday the green boogers and little cough had started. I think I smil...

BABY BI: November 2009

Yes I do feel ashamed. But I will unabashedly blame my failure to post on a nearly 3 month long writers block and a merciless full time work/baby schedule. Evidence of the writers block can be see in my very very clever title for this entry. Honestly, I racked my brain for nearly an hour for that title. This next one was taken the next day at Central Park. Practice makes perfect! Please give Mama the book". Cannot believe he will be turning 1 next Wednesday! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
