Stuff I find to be interesting, funney and off the wall. Monday, May 01, 2006. Inside there was a nice letter saying, Thanks for using us for you Auto loan, and attached to the letter was the Title to my truck! I have finished paying off my Blazer, and no more car payments! So in the spirit of not having a car payment this month, I bought my truck a present. A new K&N Air Intake/Filter kit. I am excited to try to install my first truck mod, even if I know it's not that hardcore and look pretty east to do.

Tuesday, February 07, 2006. 2006 SBIFF - Joyeux Noel. Joyeux Noel, or Merry Christmas, is the first film I saw at this year's SBIFF. It's a French movie but certainly didn't feel like a foreign film. The characters almost always spoke English which was a convenient side effect of the story and it made sense. They didn't speak English to make it easy for the moviewatcher, but did so because it made sense for the movie and the situation they were in. You might know her from National Treasure.

Tuesday, February 07, 2006. 2006 Santa Barbara International Film Festival. This is the 21st year of the Santa Barbara International Film Festival. It's a pretty elaborate event with international press and some big names. This year they had George Clooney, Seymour Hoffman, James Cameron, and Naomi Watts all honored. Luckily for the organizers, all the theatres in town are owned by one company so that was easy to coordinate for showings. Why can't you buy tickets online? How do I get my tickets?

So finally after about 3 months of sitting on the floor and dining-room chairs, we are about 1/2 to having a couch setup. Over the thanksgiving break I was able to pick up just the love seat from LA. The couch does not come in until Dec 6, but the love seat was in stock now so we figured best not to take chances and just get what we could. Enter SB with Love Seat in truck].
