Bleu cheese and red wine. Sunday, July 8, 2012. Coffee Shops in Bangkok: Part Two - Kuppa. Grade: 4 out of 10. It's listed in the Lonely Planet which is always mixed. Everyone knows this place. The coffee is nothing spectacular although they have their own roaster. The pizzas can be good. I have ordered white wine by the glass and it was lukewarm. However they have a dessert called a boom boom that is fantastic - a creamcheese brownie. Hit or miss. Coffee Shops in Bangkok: Part Four -Library Cafe 24.

Bleu cheese and red wine. Monday, January 5, 2015. Making Mochi in Japan. This Christmas and New Year's, I decided to go to Japan and study meditation at the Shogan-ji Temple. One of the things that attracted me to this place was the idea that I would get to help out cooking in the kitchen. Little did I know that Jiho-san, the monk, was an amazing cook and would teach us some great food! We made Kagami mochi. A soup with bits of mochi in it. This is traditionally eaten at New Years and was delicious!

I've become friends with two food bloggers (the Mistress of Spices. Host of the Hidden Kitchen) and through Instagram and Facebook posts, the Mistress and I discovered a shared fascination with Ottolenghi's cookbook. In the past 3 months, I have become obsessed with making Eggs Shakshouka. Assaf in the Kitchen.

bleu cheese and red wine: May 2012

Bleu cheese and red wine. Saturday, May 26, 2012. I have finally perfected fried rice thanks to Francis Lam! He tweeted this recip. E a few weeks ago and I've been following it. It's not so much a recipe as a guide to the scientifics of making great fried rice. And I always added the egg last but now I cook it first and then add in the end where it keeps its shape and doesn't make the rice gummy. And the addition of rice vinegar takes it to the next level.
