Wednesday, April 8, 2009. We never heard anything from Grand Rapids, so at this point, we are assuming Brian did not get a position at this time. We will continue to wait and see what the future holds! The college where Brian took the police academy posted a VIDEO. Of them and Brian is the still shot in the beginning and is also the recruit doing all the shooting. The video turned out really good! I came home yesterday to a surprise waiting for me on the counter. He is sooooo sweet! I love him so much!

Friday, July 24, 2009. Congrats to my Hubbin. Once his medical/psychological exams come back, he will be given a "final" offer. which means he starts work. We've already searched the areas for places to live and actually found a house on 4 acres we are in love with. I'm sure by the time we get around to purchasing a home, that one will be off the market but it's great to know what we can look forward to. I'm off. have a great night everyone! Saturday, October 12, 2013. It has been a REALLY long week. Being a parent is the hardest job. Cliche comment but I've been feeling it a lot lately. In my idealistic little mind, I keep waiting for things to just fall into place and that it will be magically easier. I've heard that. it gets easier. HA HA, no. Sorry. Being a mom is the greatest joy I've ever thought I could have BUT so far, not getting easier. Three toddlers turned into three school aged kids and although certain struggles, like bedtime.

It feels overwhelming at times to attempt to do anything but the day to day but it is nice to get them accomplished. however slow it may be. Iphone photo of our patio progress last night. Next spring it will be more decorated with pottery but I couldn't find anything that I liked this year. I may have to DIY some planters. BUT with that busy busy. I had some amazing times.
