Stage Left Studios: August 2012
http://leftytack.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 27, 2012. Moving right along through my backlog. I have a pesky saddleseat set on my desk that just refuses to be done. if it isn't a broken buckle, it's a weak bit or lumpy panel. Some sets fight you all the way through, and some just put themselves together. This set was (thankfully! In the latter category! Totally came together all on its own. It has a gullet? What is this strange occurance? Another set off to its new owner. It feels good to finish things! Anything is better than Sans.

Stage Left Studios: NW Expo Halter
http://leftytack.blogspot.com/2015/04/nw-expo-halter.html
Monday, April 27, 2015. I was lucky enough to have my table at NW Expo be situated right near the performance rings, but I did find myself forgetting to wander over to the Halter tables! I think I took 250-ish halter photos at Card Shark/Shamrocks last month, and only 60 something photos on Saturday. I need a designated photo taking minion! One cool feature of the show were the door prizes- every entrant throughout the day got called up to pick something off the blue table. Definitely a neat touch! Anoth...

Stage Left Studios: July 2014
http://leftytack.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 31, 2014. I get so excited over the stupidest stuff. Because really, if you order or buy tack from me, you're probably most interested in the tack itself and would be satisfied with whatever means of transport it arrived to you in, as long as it was undamaged. And it's just so goshdarn fun. So today the tan hunter set got a cute box of its own and is off to its new owner, which is an awesome feeling. The more stuff moving off my desk, the better! Figure 8's are hard. That is all. Nope, it'...

Stage Left Studios: Official Hiatus
http://leftytack.blogspot.com/2015/06/official-hiatus.html
Sunday, June 14, 2015. I end this mini hiatus to announce. an official hiatus! I can't remember if I've mentioned this on here before, but I'm going away this summer to attend an art program back east for six weeks. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for me, and I can't wait to go, but it does mean leaving the hobby back home in the northwest for a while. I've barely touched anything in the studio since I got home from NW Expo, and I have to say, it's been nice to have a little breather. Simple t...

Stage Left Studios: July 2012
http://leftytack.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 26, 2012. My hope is that this blog will eventually be worth your time to read, and thinking in that vein I've compiled a list of topics that I plan to cover in the future:. A walkthrough of how I make English saddles (and other various how-tos and walkthroughs as I think of them). An explanation of how I do my photography ('cause little tiny tack is unsurprisingly photo shy and it can be tricky to get just the right shot). My thoughts on the idea of "performance-friendly". Tried a couple ...

Stage Left Studios: March 2015
http://leftytack.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 27, 2015. Pending its new owner's approval, this order is finished in record time! I've also sent in my entry for NW Expo, which is very exciting, and calls for some sprucing up of my performance entries. As evidenced by my last shows, there's nothing glaringly wrong. With them- but NW Expo is a very big, high caliber show that calls for my A-game. Prudence's rider seemed to be a success, so I've decided my OF horse, Blue Jay Way, should have one as well:. Saturday, March 21, 2015. Here he ...

Stage Left Studios: November 2014
http://leftytack.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 30, 2014. Studio Update: November 30. Continued having fun taking pictures in the snow. Both the saddles for an order: this medium brown hunter guy. And this pretty dark brown eventing one. Both have adjustable stirrups, which have been fun to play with! Added the little excess stirrup leather keeper things to the raffle saddle. Made some tiny presents for my tiny tree. And started a figure eight bridle that is just too chunky on poor Seabiscuit's face! Saturday, November 29, 2014. So ju...

Stage Left Studios: February 2015
http://leftytack.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 26, 2015. Studio Update: February 26. It's been a crazy month! I have so many non-hobby related projects up in the air, I had a big birthday, and I'm working on a total bedroom overhaul that's been sucking up a lot of my time. Luckily, it's looking like things are settling back down, which means more studio time! The surcingle set is now officially done (awaiting its new owner's approval):. Talking about it on here when I get myself together and finally finish the thing! The hand itsel...
