He tried to ask questions, but I couldn't even understand what he was asking, and the fireman wasn't faring much better. Another fireman gave the boys fire department badge stickers and they insisted on wearing them to bed tonight. I love being part of an awesome community! They totally want to be firefighters now. :). And it came to pass.". Monday, November 25, 2013. Clara Jane was born today! For those of you who want the short story, she was born at 2:39pm, 19.5 inches long and 7 lbs, 7 oz (and 7/10 oz)! Very healthy and lots of dark hair! The traditional last-time-we-have-to-hug-bending-over picture! Chris turned the Pitocin down so I could get a break while we called Dr. MacDonald and got the delivery tools all ready to go. That helped immensely and the contractions slowed to ten minutes apart. Sunday, July 14, 2013. Arrived at hospital to be induced at 6am. Set up in room with IV in at 7am. Started Pitocin at around 8am. Dr broke water 9:15, at 4cm dilated. Checked dilation at 10:45 – at 9.5cm! Rushing to set up room and get doctor! Doctor in room at 11:00, Clark born at 11:16am, 8lb 5oz, 21 inches long. Released from hospital around 4pm June 22.
