With Dad Tommie on the ferry. Love these two! Dad’s land has come such a long way since they first purchased it. It used to be a huge thicket of overgrown trees and weeds and now it’s looking so beautiful. They have tons of deer too. So grateful for him in my life. Made him some raspberry pancakes for breakfast.

We took their kids for a weekend while they went to Nauvoo and then they took ours while we did a staycation in the city for Mitch’s birthday. It was so fun for our kids and a great way to have babysitting for both of us, with people we knew our kids would like and have so much fun with. For one of the day activities we went rappelling. At Coon's Bluff and while we were all sitting around on camp chairs watching other rappel. This little nasty came waltzing out of the bushes and walked right in the midst of all our chairs. Isn't that just disgusting? I am going to end the post now, because I am getting.
