Tuesday, February 19, 2013. Grandpa and Grandma Visit. Grandpa and Grandma came for a quick visit a couple of weeks ago and we had a great time. They mostly hung with the kids and soaked up time while Kole and I worked and finished up the kitchen cabinet project we had been working on. They helped us with the cabinets and cooked yummy meals. We didn't go and do a lot, just hung at home and relaxed, it was really nice! Posted by Shannon and Kole. Grant Robert @ 10 months:. You will walk all around furnitu...

Saturday, September 7, 2013. Mountain Weekend (Take One). We spent the last two weekends up in the mountains. It was kind of a lot to get organized and pack everything up two weekends in a row and work in between, but it was very relaxing and wonderful to be up there. The first weekend we went to Keystone with my family. We played, relaxed, swam, walked, ate, and just hung out. It was great. Family pics are no easy task these days. First vacay for the Mitchell family! Ladder ball with Nana. Posted by Sha...

Harms House: April 2013
http://coharms.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 25, 2013. Our Baby Turned One! Grant turned 1 on Friday, April 5th. It really is crazy how quickly a year can pass. Grant is all boy! He's physical, busy, loud, stubborn, curious, sweet and sensitive. On his birthday he was probably taking about 8-10 steps at once, but was still crawling to get around. He tries my patience and makes me laugh every day. He still loves to be around us, especially his big sis, but he is also doing better playing on his own and entertaining himself. Signs mor...

Harms House: October 2012
http://coharms.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 19, 2012. Wow - it's so hard to believe we are already half way to this little man's first birthday! This last month probably passed by the quickest so far as we have had constant family in town since the end of September. We have been crazy busy without really accomplishing much, but we love having family around and it's been fun for everyone to get to know the kids. Grant Robert @ Six Months. He is still in size 2 diapers, but they are getting snug. He has moved into 6-9 month, 9 mo...

Harms House: Thanksgiving
http://coharms.blogspot.com/2014/01/thanksgiving.html
Monday, January 27, 2014. We hosted Thanksgiving this year. We had my family (minus Brian in MS and Kels and Josh and Liam who were in NC) and some friends. We had seven kids this year and decided that was enough to warrant a separate kids table. I saw this cute snack idea on Pinterest. Thank goodness for that site, it's so great for someone like me who has no creative vision. My table decor was also Pinterest inspired. Helping" Nana make whip cream. Have no idea what she was doing here. The Four of Us.

Harms House: Christmas (part 2)
http://coharms.blogspot.com/2014/02/christmas-part-2.html
Saturday, February 1, 2014. Payton couldn't wait to sit on Santa's lap and tell him what she wanted for Christmas. Payton asked Santa for a "turn on Hello Kitty toothbrush" and a "light-up ball". Thankfully she is easy to please! Grant was less thrilled as you can tell by the picture. Below is Payton when she was Grant's age so I guess he is right on track. And then last year's pic, fun to see the progression. Below are pics of the three grand-kids in the same shirt on their first Christmas, kind of fun!

Harms House: November 2012
http://coharms.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 22, 2012. Grant Robert @ 7 Months. None to report as he doesn't go back to the doctor until 9 months, but he is in 6-12 month, 9 month or 12 month clothing depending on the brand and size 3 diapers. He seems pretty average to me when I see him around other babies his age. He seems to do fine on little sleep during the day, just gets rough if he goes too long before bed without a catnap. Happy 7 months buddy, we love you bunches! I love styling his hair in a little fau-hawk. Payton and ...

Harms House: July 2013
http://coharms.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 5, 2013. Happy 4th of July! We had a very relaxing holiday. We walked to bagels and coffee in the morning and then just hung home, played outside and got ready for company for BBQ and fireworks in the evening. The littles were dressed to celebrate so we snapped some pics of all 3 together. How cute are they! Finally I have a pic of me and my nephew. Could hold him forever. Turns out 3 and 4 year-olds are way more impressed by smores then fireworks, who'd a thought! Posted by Shannon and Kole.
