Miter Lorefield's Blog. June 9, 2009 • 12:08 am. Here is the plane i was working on texturing, a few people have asked me how I made them so uniform. Here is the secret – layers. The top layer I created on all of the six textures that make the plane is called ‘shadow’ and the bottom is called ‘base paint’. There are layers between are details.
