A dollop of ice-cream....: Of decisions
http://21writersblock.blogspot.com/2005/07/of-decisions.html
A dollop of ice-cream. Monday, July 25, 2005. I like writing for the simple fact that I can ramble on without beginning or end.start somewhere and end somewhere completely different. And the greatest pleasure it gives me is the thought that someday I most probably will revisit and laugh at these memories or essays or blog-bits or whatever you can call them. Now, that I am at home the most common question people usually ask me is "what do you do all day? But now she goes to give herself to somebody. My go...

A dollop of ice-cream....: Random day nostalgia
http://21writersblock.blogspot.com/2011/10/random-day-nostalgia.html
A dollop of ice-cream. Wednesday, October 12, 2011. A fool's journey - but that's what I have been doing all my life. I left my school when I was in class V and then went back after a month. I left the org in my company I had the most fun working in and came back after one and a half years. Now maybe it is time to return to my country after 7 years. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I have landed .on Seattle moon :). Is this what or why. Me myself and myself - one liners. You've got mail .again. I like...

A dollop of ice-cream....: A little piece of heaven
http://21writersblock.blogspot.com/2011/05/little-piece-of-heaven.html
A dollop of ice-cream. Saturday, May 07, 2011. A little piece of heaven. Mood meter on the high today - so you can expect a little out of the blue cheerful post from me maybe . or maybe not :). Joy and I went off on one of our random weekend impulses today - Seattle weather wasn't supposed to cooperate but Aladdin's. For the last few days, I have been trying to retrospect and I have been finding it harder than what I thought - more so because it seems in the last year I have put layer over layer over lay...

A dollop of ice-cream....: A Tribute
http://21writersblock.blogspot.com/2011/05/tribute.html
A dollop of ice-cream. Friday, May 20, 2011. As a little girl I always dreamed of making a stage appearance - bowing in front of thunderous applause and shining in the limelight. (no, don't call me attention crazy yet :P). Anyway so I think I always mentally have had this speech ready and whether you like it or not - you get to be my practice audience. :P. Wish you many many happy returns of the day and have a wonderful year ahead. :). May 21, 2011. Wednesday, May 25, 2011. Is this what or why. I like wr...

A dollop of ice-cream....: April 2011
http://21writersblock.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
A dollop of ice-cream. Thursday, April 28, 2011. Sometime ago I had this vision of shattering glass - all I saw (yes, with my eyes open :) was glass shattering all around me. Needless to say that scared my husband and mom quite a bit. :) I felt I was going off my rocker too but I guess that has to wait. I can't believe I am saying that. I don't believe each and every smiling face is not hiding a level of frustration underneath - peers, managers, deadlines, compromises, coding but then again not coding.

Life and the likes of it: Boston Beautiful
http://divyadurgadas.blogspot.com/2009/04/boston-beautiful.html
Life and the likes of it. I have often mentioned the bean-town is many of my posts; for its unforgiving weather, lovely Charles stretch, lively streets and even starbucks round the corner. Now that I live a painful fifty miles away from this youthful city, it only makes me love it more every time I visit. She was my first big city in this country and hopefully she’d be the last! One hour long lunch and after, it was time for reviving old times- dear old Charles! Sun burnt and lazed, we called it a day to...

A dollop of ice-cream....: Me myself and myself - one liners
http://21writersblock.blogspot.com/2008/08/me-myself-and-myself-one-liners.html
A dollop of ice-cream. Saturday, August 23, 2008. Me myself and myself - one liners. The following are my rants followed by my rants :). Caution: do not read at risk of losing mental sanity. I wish I were a positive person - like the one who sees silver linings on every cloud kind of thing. I have heard somewhere the first step in turning your wishes to reality is turning the word wish in the sentence into do/am. Expectations are the root of every or most problems. Very nice saying from my friend's statu...

Life and the likes of it: The moonlight witness
http://divyadurgadas.blogspot.com/2009/08/moonlight-witness.html
Life and the likes of it. We rarely see the moon in this part of the world. Either it is grim skies of winter or the rains in summer and spring. But some nights like tonight – once in a Full moon. 8211; it is moon-beam splattering its way through my window, distracting the sleepers' eye and before it fades away into grayness of the fall season, I wish to capture it in my memory and blog. Let me rewind a fourteen years; I am witnessed by the moon picnicking with two equally sanguine childhood friends.

Life and the likes of it: A child's diary
http://divyadurgadas.blogspot.com/2007/02/childs-diary_19.html
Life and the likes of it. A child’s diary. I was reading ‘swami and friends’, last week; the book has always been a subtle reminder of my amusing experiences as a child! But unlike and like swami, I spent the better half of my innocence in a small colony in. With two dear friends – Nandu and Ninju. Amidst the visits to the temple of the reclining god and instances of sheer laughter, the three of us had created a world where we spent the best days of our lives. Life was never better and a mesmerized child...
