Saturday, June 6, 2009. Gorgeous St. George. Over Memorial Day Weekend Our family went to St. George and spent a day in Zion. The weather was perfect! I bought a tent and decided to go with a roomy eight man tent. That thing is nice! We could fit a queen size blow up mattress and all four kids and still have room to spare. Wednesday, October 22, 2008. As we were driving tonight Karli noticed the temple and said, "Look at that beautiful temple.". Is that the Salt Lake Temple? She asked. I said, "That is the Jordan River Temple.". Halee proudly announced, "The Jordan River is where Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist! Sunday, October 19, 2008. Can you imagine anything more fun than being burried in corn? Our friends let us tag along with them to Cornbelly's the other night. View of the moon from inside the corn maze.

He got into a scuffle with a guy in a basketball game and before any punches were thrown and just out of the blue the guy head butted Trevor right in the face. Then the fight really began! Wednesday, August 26, 2009. My Baby is Off to School. My baby started Kindergarten yesterday, the same day my oldest started Jr.High. She was so excited all day long. Tuesday, March 16, 2010. We made a little carnival in our backyard and invited Taylor's school class to the party! Karli and her friends were the "Carni" workers. I can always count on my amazing friend Karen to help me with my parties. I don't know what I'd do without her. Trevor was a great popcorn man! Our Fabulous Four: Cabbage Patch Kid

Wednesday, August 26, 2009. Towards the end of the school year all of the kids in Karli's grade received a small cabbage plant to plant in their garden with the hopes of growing the biggest cabbage and winning a scholarship prize. Not many people planted it, and I wasn't planning on it but Karli was very persistent. So with little effort we planted the cabbage and left it all summer. It sure was tastey! I'd love to grow them again because it was so easy. Wow, that is one big cabbage!

Sunday, April 27, 2008. Take Me Out to the Ball Game. Taylor is quite the little athlete. He is playing third base on his baseball team. Last week he caught a fly ball and tagged his base for a double play! It has been really busy with all the sports our boys are playing. Snow Won't Get Us Down. My brother is so adorable. Monday, March 31, 2008. I just have to brag a little about my oldest child. In the past Nate and I have butted heads quite frequently. I used to think that it was because he was like his dad.but then (after learning a little about birth order and personality traits) I realized that it's because he's a lot. Thursday, May 8, 2008. Last night Nate's basketball team, the Miners, won in overtime. It was pretty intense. The ref had absolutely no control of the game. I think he called 3 fouls for the whole game. I am not exaggerating! He teaches people about alkalizing their bodies by eating the way we are supposed to.
