Mi voz, mi mundo. Friday, 30 May 2008. Here do not appreciate my honesty. I have learned to keep my mouth shut. I know, it is rather shocking. I am tired of keeping my thoughts to myself, so in sense, this is my therapy. Moving to the UK was a lifelong dream. I will never forget the morning of 8 September when the wheels of the plane kissed the pavement of London Heathrow. The smile on my face said it all. I worked hard to get here. 160; Once the stamp was in my passport, I never looked back.

Mi voz, mi mundo. Sunday, 1 June 2008. When I first moved to this island, I knew no one. The one and only person I knew was in London and, well, I am not living in London. I am in the north: the dark and evil Scotland. I am in the nicer part of Scotland- the part dubbed as "cosmopolitan" which makes me cringe when I write that. That is a topic for a different post. Once I moved here I created my social groups which consist of:. People in my master's program. People that do not go to my university.
